Xi Jinping signs the Presidential Order.
On December 27th, President Xi Jinping signed Presidential Orders No. 63, No. 64, No. 65, No. 66, No. 67, and No. 68. Presidential Order No. 63 states that the Fisheries Law of the People's Republic of China has been revised and passed by the Standing Committee of the 14th National People's Congress on December 27, 2025, and will be implemented from May 1, 2026. Presidential Order No. 64 states that the Hazardous Chemicals Safety Law of the People's Republic of China has been passed by the Standing Committee of the 14th National People's Congress on December 27, 2025, and will be implemented from May 1, 2026. Presidential Order No. 65 states that the Civil Aviation Law of the People's Republic of China has been revised and passed by the Standing Committee of the 14th National People's Congress on December 27, 2025, and will be implemented from July 1, 2026. Presidential Order No. 66 states that the National Language and Script Law of the People's Republic of China has been revised and passed by the Standing Committee of the 14th National People's Congress on December 27, 2025, and will be implemented from January 1, 2026. Presidential Order No. 67 states that the Foreign Trade Law of the People's Republic of China has been revised and passed by the Standing Committee of the 14th National People's Congress on December 27, 2025, and will be implemented from March 1, 2026. Presidential Order No. 68 states that, in accordance with the decision made by the Standing Committee of the 14th National People's Congress on December 27, 2025, the Law on Township Enterprises of the People's Republic of China and the temporary regulations on value-added tax, consumption tax, and business tax for Foreign Invested Enterprises and Foreign Enterprises will be abolished and announced.
