This year, the number of visitors to Australia hit a record high.

The Macao Special Administrative Region Public Security Police Force stated today that as of 11 am this morning, the total number of visitors to Macao this year has reached 39.411 million, surpassing the highest record of 39.406 million visitors in the whole of 2019. Among them, mainland visitors accounted for 72.4%, while visitors from Hong Kong, Taiwan, and other regions accounted for 18.3%, 2.5%, and 6.8% respectively. In addition, it is expected that there will be a large number of visitors to Macao on New Year's Eve, and the Macao Special Administrative Region Public Security Police Force has made advance arrangements for various police services to ensure the safety and orderliness of customs clearance and countdown activities.
