National Bureau of Statistics: Profits of raw material manufacturing industry grow rapidly.

Yu Weinin, chief statistician of the Industry Department of the National Bureau of Statistics, interpreted the profit data of industrial enterprises from January to November 2025. Profits in the raw materials manufacturing industry have grown rapidly. From January to November, profits in the above-scale raw materials manufacturing industry grew rapidly, with a year-on-year growth rate of 16.6%, driving an increase of 2.0 percentage points in profits for all above-scale industrial enterprises. Looking at the industry perspective, since the beginning of this year, the profitability of the steel industry has improved significantly, combined with the low base effect, industry profits have increased significantly year-on-year; driven by increased market demand and rapid revenue growth, profits in the non-ferrous industry have maintained double-digit growth.
