Korean scientists have developed a new type of lithium metal battery without an anode, with a volume energy density of up to 1270 watt-hours per liter, approximately twice that of mainstream lithium-ion batteries for electric vehicles. This achievement is expected to double the driving range of electric vehicles, and the related paper has been published in the latest issue of the journal "Advanced Materials".
