Our country has established specific laws for the safety management of hazardous chemicals.

The 19th meeting of the 14th Standing Committee of the National People's Congress passed the "Law of the People's Republic of China on the Safety of Hazardous Chemicals" on December 27, to be implemented from May 1, 2026. The Hazardous Chemicals Safety Law consists of 10 chapters and 127 articles, including general provisions, planning and layout, production and storage safety, safe use, safe operation, safe transportation, registration of hazardous chemicals, emergency response to accidents, legal responsibilities, and supplementary provisions. The purpose of this law is to strengthen the safety management of hazardous chemicals, prevent and reduce accidents related to hazardous chemicals, protect the health, life, and property safety of the people, and safeguard the environment.
