Sichuan Province signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Fudan University.

On December 26th, the Sichuan Provincial People's Government and Fudan University signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Chengdu. Shi Xiaolin, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Governor, and Jin Li, President of Fudan University and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, attended the signing ceremony and witnessed the signing. Deputy Governor Chen Shuping and Fudan University's Executive Vice President Xu Zheng signed the agreement on behalf of both parties. According to the agreement, both sides will fully leverage Sichuan's location, resources, industry advantages and Fudan University's strengths in science, technology, education, and talent to carry out comprehensive cooperation between the province and the university in strategic decision-making consulting, major innovation platform construction, technology transfer and industrialization, talent cultivation and exchange, and innovation and entrepreneurship education and practice, to better serve the country's high-level technological self-reliance, promote high-quality economic and social development in Sichuan, and accelerate Fudan University's construction as a world-class university with Chinese characteristics. Jin Lei, member of the Provincial Party Committee and Minister of the Organization Department, presided over the signing ceremony, and officials from Fudan University and relevant departments of the province also participated.
