China Economic News app, Huadian Science and Technology (601226.SH) announced that recently, the company (leader of the contractor consortium), China Electric Power Construction Group Hebei Engineering Co., Ltd. (member of the contractor consortium), and China Electric Power Engineering Consulting Group Northwest Electric Power Design Institute Co., Ltd. have signed a contract for the "Chongqing New Electric Power Base 666 MW Coal-fired Power Plant EPC General Contract Project C Section - Steel Structure Cooling Towers and Indirect Cooling System General Contracting Project", with a total contract amount of approximately 818 million yuan (including taxes). This project serves as a benchmark demonstration in the power industry, and the steel structure cooling towers and indirect cooling systems provided by the company have industry-leading technological advantages.
