Guiguan Electric Power: The construction plan for the navigation building of Longtan Hydropower Station has been changed from 500-ton class to 1000-ton class, and will start soon.

Notice from Guiguan Power: The company's wholly-owned subsidiary Longtan Hydropower Development Co., Ltd. plans to start construction of a 1000-ton class navigable building. Longtan Hydropower Station, as the key control project of the cascading development of the Red River, was originally planned to be built according to the 500-ton class standard. However, due to the requirement from the National Development and Reform Commission, it has been upgraded to the 1000-ton class. The original 500-ton class project was put on hold in 2018. In 2023, the development and reform commissions of Guangxi and Guizhou provinces jointly approved the feasibility study report of the 1000-ton class project, with a construction period of 69 months and a total estimated investment of 5.346 billion yuan.
