Serbian capital finds World War II leftover bomb, Ministry of Interior calls on citizens to avoid risks.
According to the local time announcement by the Serbian Ministry of the Interior on December 26th, the emergency department will carry out the clearance, transfer, and unified destruction of a World War II-era aviation bomb discovered at a construction site in the capital city of Belgrade on the morning of December 28th. It is reported that the bomb is an American-made World War II aviation bomb, with a total weight of approximately 470 kilograms, including about 250 kilograms of explosive charges, which was used during the Allied bombing of German positions in Belgrade in 1944.
