The two-way eight-lane Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway project in the northern part of Hubei has been completed and expanded smoothly.

Today, the expansion and reconstruction project of the Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway's northern section in Hubei Province successfully passed the final acceptance inspection. The project has a total length of 157.79 kilometers, a total investment of 21.01 billion yuan, a design speed of 120 kilometers per hour, and is a standard dual 8-lane expressway. It passes through Dawu County, Xiaochang County, Xiaonan District in Xiaogan City, Dongxihu District, Caidian District, Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone in Wuhan City, and ends at the Wuhan West Hub Interchange.
