In the first 11 months, the number of people traveling in transportation in China reached 618.7 billion person-times.

On December 26, it was learned from the Ministry of Transport that from January to November, the number of people moving across regions in China reached 61.87 billion person-times, an increase of 3.6% year-on-year. Freight volume is steadily increasing. From January to November, China completed 53.54 billion tons of commercial freight volume, a year-on-year increase of 3.5%. Among them, road freight volume completed 39.49 billion tons, a year-on-year increase of 3.6%; waterway freight volume completed 9.21 billion tons, a year-on-year increase of 3.5%. The growth of port cargo throughput is faster. From January to November, China completed 16.75 billion tons of port cargo throughput, a year-on-year increase of 4.4%, with the throughput of domestic and foreign trade increasing by 4.5% and 4.1% respectively. The completed container throughput was 320 million TEUs, an increase of 6.6% year-on-year. The scale of investment in fixed assets in transportation remains high. From January to November, China completed a total investment in fixed assets in transportation of 3.27 trillion yuan, of which investments in roads and water transportation were 2.22 trillion yuan and 193.5 billion yuan respectively.
