According to the Zhitong Finance and Economics app, the National Energy Administration has released data on the issuance and trading of national renewable energy green electricity certificates. In November 2025, the National Energy Administration issued 258 million green certificates, involving 509,700 renewable energy generation projects, of which 150 million are tradable green certificates, accounting for 58.25%. This issue corresponds to 225 million green certificates for renewable energy electricity in October 2025, accounting for 87.17%. From January to November 2025, the National Energy Administration issued a total of 2.736 billion green certificates, of which 1.743 billion are tradable green certificates.
