Liu Weihong, a member of the Standing Committee of the Lanzhou Municipal Party Committee in Gansu Province and the Minister of the Propaganda Department, is under investigation.

The website of the Central Commission of Discipline Inspection of the National Supervisory Commission reported on December 26th that according to the Gansu Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision, Liu Weihong, a member of the Standing Committee of the Lanzhou Municipal Party Committee and Minister of the Publicity Department, is suspected of serious violations of discipline and law, and is currently undergoing disciplinary review and supervision investigation by the Gansu Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision.
