Hong Kong Property: The number of second-hand residential properties in Hong Kong registering over 10 million Hong Kong dollars reached 5,335 in 2025, a new high in 3 years.

Director Wang Pindi of the Hong Kong Property Research Department stated that according to data from the Hong Kong Land Registry, there were 5,335 registrations for second-hand residential properties priced over 10 million Hong Kong dollars in 2025, representing an increase of approximately 14.6% from the 4,656 registrations in 2024, reaching a new high in 3 years. Compared to the 45,331 registrations for second-hand residential properties in 2025, an increase of approximately 11.3% from the 40,734 registrations in 2024, the number of registrations for second-hand residential properties priced over 10 million Hong Kong dollars saw a higher year-on-year growth rate, with its proportion in the overall second-hand residential property registrations increasing from around 11.4% in 2024 to around 11.8% in 2025.
