According to the statistical survey of 31 provinces nationwide, the cotton sowing area, unit yield, and total production in 2025 are as follows: 1. The cotton sowing area nationwide is 2979.2 thousand hectares, an increase of 140.9 thousand hectares compared to 2024, with a growth of 5.0%. 2. The unit yield of cotton nationwide is 2229.0 kilograms per hectare, an increase of 57.4 kilograms per hectare compared to 2024, with a growth of 2.6%. 3. The total cotton production nationwide is 664.1 million tons, an increase of 47.7 million tons compared to 2024, with a growth of 7.7%.
