Descartes data: Asian America-bound container volume decreased by 6.7% in November.

According to statistical data from the American research company Descartes Data, the volume of ocean container shipments from Asia to the United States in November decreased by 6.7% year-on-year, to 1.604 million units. The volume of shipments has been lower than the previous year for three consecutive months. From January to November, the cumulative volume of container shipments from Asia to the United States was 18.602 million units, which was essentially flat compared to the same period in 2024.
