Sichuan: Will further promote the accelerated and high-quality development of the entire hydrogen energy industry with maximum effort.

Journalists learned from the Economic and Information Department of Sichuan Province that Sichuan is steadfastly promoting the development of the hydrogen energy industry. After the research meeting convened by the provincial government's key leaders in April 2024 to further promote the full industrial chain development and application of green hydrogen, Sichuan Province has made continuous progress in promoting the development of the hydrogen energy industry. Firstly, policies and systems have been further improved; secondly, efforts have been made to implement the industrial "circle formation and chain strengthening" strategy; thirdly, key core technology breakthroughs have been strengthened; and fourthly, emphasis has been placed on promoting demonstration applications. Next, Sichuan will continue to focus on the key tasks outlined in the "Sichuan Province Hydrogen Energy Industry Medium- and Long-Term Development Plan", implement the support measures of the "Sichuan Province Action Plan to Further Promote the Development and Application of the Full Hydrogen Energy Industry Chain", and concentrate efforts on creating typical application scenarios, reducing comprehensive application costs, accelerating major technological breakthroughs, promoting the integration of hydrogen energy with various energy sources, and improving management and service systems. Sichuan will further push forward the rapid and high-quality development of the full hydrogen energy industry with the greatest intensity.
