This morning, a plane from Beijing Daxing Airport operated by Eastern Airlines smoothly landed at Jiaxing Nanhu Airport, marking the official opening of another new airport in the Yangtze River Delta. On the same day, South Airlines and Changlong Airlines will also have their first flights at Jiaxing Nanhu Airport, flying to Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu, and Changchun. At the same time, two cargo planes operated by YTO Cargo Airlines were also loaded with goods and flew from Jiaxing Nanhu Airport to Huizhou and Zhengzhou. As the 9th civil aviation transportation airport in Zhejiang, Jiaxing Nanhu Airport is the first professional aviation cargo hub in the Yangtze River Delta and the second in the country, positioning itself as "balancing passengers and cargo, with a focus on cargo." The terminal of the airport covers an area of 25,900 square meters, the flight area is rated as level 4E, with 56 aircraft parking positions, and can accommodate an annual passenger throughput of 1.8 million passengers and a cargo throughput of 1.1 million tons.
