Domestically developed time-gated Raman spectroscopy technology assists in the archaeological excavation of Sanxingdui.

According to the Aerospace Information Innovation Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, researcher Wang Zhenyou's research team at the Guangzhou campus of the institute has made progress in ivory archaeological research at Sanxingdui using a microscopic time-gated Raman spectrometer developed by the team. The relevant results have been published in the international academic journal "ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces".
