By the end of 2028, the automobile production in Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area will exceed one million vehicles.

Recently, the Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone released several measures to accelerate the development of the "Beijing Yizhuang Automobile Intelligent Manufacturing Innovation City." It is specified that by the end of 2028, the automobile production in the development zone will exceed 1 million vehicles, and the industry scale will reach 350 billion yuan. The automobile industry, as the "ballast stone" and "stabilizer" of the economic development of the Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone, has formed a high-end automobile industry cluster led by Beijing Benz, as well as a new energy intelligent connected vehicle industry cluster led by Xiaomi Auto, BAIC New Energy, and Xiaoma Intelligent Driving. In the first three quarters of this year, the output value of the automobile industry in the development zone reached 226.58 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 13.2%, showing strong development momentum.
