Samsung Electronics plans to independently develop a GPU for edge AI products by 2027.

Samsung Electronics, the world's largest storage chip manufacturer, plans to launch an application processor with its own GPU as early as 2027, marking an important step in building an end-to-end device-side artificial intelligence ecosystem.
