According to Shenzhen News, on December 23rd, the centralized signing ceremony and housing ticket distribution ceremony of the first phase of the urban village renovation project in the Xianshuihu area of Ping Shan Shijie Street, Shenzhen, was held, becoming Shenzhen's first project to implement housing ticket placement in the field of urban village renovation. According to the policy, housing ticket holders can independently choose housing units from the ones that have been pre-sold and accepted for use with housing tickets, and enjoy tax reductions as specified. For Pingshan, housing tickets are not just resettlement compensation certificates for demolition households, but also tools to promote the healthy circulation of the regional economy, quietly changing the logic of urban renewal and the real estate market pattern.
