The State Tobacco Monopoly Administration publicly solicits opinions on the "Notice on Implementing the Policy of the Electronic Cigarette Industry and Further Promoting the Dynamic Balance of Supply and Demand". The "Consultation Draft" proposes to enhance the compliance and operation level of electronic cigarette-related production enterprises. Electronic cigarette-related production enterprises should improve their professional and standardized operation capabilities, strengthen technological research and development innovation and brand cultivation, continuously optimize process technology, and consolidate and expand the core competitiveness of the Chinese electronic cigarette industry. Improve the digital level of electronic cigarette supervision, improve the traceability management system, formulate electronic cigarette supply and demand management guidelines and fixed asset investment management guidelines, strengthen monitoring and early warning of enterprise fixed asset investment, approved production capacity, and production scale use, and continuously improve regulatory efficiency. Promote the construction of an electronic cigarette credit supervision system, implement differentiated regulatory measures, for electronic cigarette-related production enterprises that operate compliantly and have good credit, gradually simplify verification materials and procedures, and reduce on-site inspection frequency.
