On December 25th, Chen Zhiwei, the director of the Foreign Exchange Research Center of the State Administration of Foreign Exchange, stated during a press conference on the progress of financial support for accelerating the construction of the Western Land-Sea New Corridor that the State Administration of Foreign Exchange will continue to deepen the joint construction and sharing of cross-border financial service platforms in the regions along the Western Land-Sea New Corridor. They will continue to enrich and improve nationwide scenarios, expand credit data, and enhance operational convenience. They will support innovative development of more local characteristic scenarios in provinces, regions, and cities along the corridor, providing precise and targeted services for regional economic and trade development. The State Administration of Foreign Exchange will steadily promote the implementation and effectiveness of various foreign exchange facilitation policies, continuously optimize foreign exchange services, and strengthen risk prevention and control.
