"Relying on electricity to consume electricity," Jia Zhenguo, former deputy director of the Environment and Resources Protection Committee of the Inner Mongolia People's Congress, has been expelled from the party.

After investigation, Jia Zhenguo has lost his ideal and beliefs, betrayed his original intentions and mission, violated political discipline, and resisted organizational inspection; ignored the spirit of the eight central regulations, gifted consumption cards significantly exceeding normal reciprocity, and accepted banquets in violation of regulations; seriously trampled on organizational principles, sought benefits and received assets for others in aspects such as hiring employees; breached integrity standards, accepted gifts and consumption cards in violation of regulations, accepted travel arrangements in violation of regulations; abused power, intervened in and interfered with construction projects; "relying on electricity to consume electricity", used his position to profit for others in project contracting and work transfers, and illegally received huge sums of money.
