Ministry of Transport: Inner Mongolia has successfully completed all tasks of the pilot project "Integration of Transportation and Tourism Development", achieving the expected goals of the pilot project. It is hereby agreed to pass the acceptance test in principle.

The Ministry of Transport has issued acceptance opinions on the pilot task of "Integration of Transportation and Tourism Development" and the construction of a strong transportation country in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region: the pilot task of "Integration of Transportation and Tourism Development" has been fully completed, achieving the expected goals of the pilot task, and it is generally agreed to pass the acceptance. Through the implementation of the pilot task, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region has built the main transportation framework for tourism along the Yellow River with "one axis and five corridors", constructed multiple scenic roads with tourism characteristics, established an aviation transportation network of "main and branch connectivity, and full network integration", and significantly improved the level of transportation and tourism infrastructure and services. Various integrated transportation and tourism products have been developed, preliminarily forming a cooperative financing model for integrated transportation and tourism involving government and social capital, laying a foundation for constructing a sustainable system of integrated transportation and tourism development. The pilot achievements have certain innovative, leading, and demonstrative value, and have formed a number of replicable and promotable typical experiences and innovative results in the construction of scenic roads, development of tourism resources along the roads, improvement of tourism service levels along the roads, and financing of integrated transportation and tourism projects, etc., which have certain reference and significance for the integrated development of transportation and tourism.
