According to the Securities Times APP, on December 25th, the State Post Bureau held its regular quarterly press conference, introducing the development of green and low-carbon postal industry during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period. During the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, China's express delivery packaging has continued to improve in terms of greenness, reduction, and recyclability. The industry's use of electronic waybills and reusable transit bags has basically achieved full coverage, with a packaging standardization rate of 86%. The number of layers in packaging boxes and the thickness of packaging bags have been reduced by more than half, the width of tapes has been reduced by 25%, the intelligent packing algorithm has reduced material consumption by nearly 20%, the proportion of reusable packaging used in local express delivery has reached 10%, and over 800 million paper boxes are recycled and reused annually.
