Year-end car market did not see a strong performance: some consumers are starting to wait and see, industry insiders are looking forward to subsidies continuing.

As December approaches, it is traditionally the key window period for the year-end surge in the automobile market. However, journalists found that compared to the bustling atmosphere of previous years, the car market at the end of this year can be described as "quiet". The strong sentiment of consumers holding back and waiting is a common phenomenon. Journalists visited nearly ten new energy brands including Tesla, Xiaomi, Hongmeng Zhihang, and Avita, and found that the showrooms were generally sparsely populated and somewhat quiet. A staff member at a Xiaomi car store revealed that the sales volume in the store had slightly decreased after entering December, with only two to three transactions per week. The company's launch of a "on-the-spot purchase" activity did not significantly boost store sales. And staff at sales outlets for two other brands even admitted that their stores had not achieved any offline transactions in the past week.
