ACFTU: In response to issues such as unpaid wages and illegal overtime work, the "one letter and two books" move the front line of safeguarding rights.
On December 25, the ACFTU held a press conference on the typical cases of labor law supervision in 2025. Zhu Yanli, Minister of Legal Affairs of the ACFTU, stated that in 2025, the ACFTU continued to deepen cooperation with the Supreme People's Court and the Supreme People's Procuratorate on labor law supervision through the "one letter and two documents" mechanism, achieving positive progress. Trade unions at all levels fully utilized the "one letter and two documents" mechanism to address prominent issues such as unpaid wages, illegal overtime work, protection of rights of workers in new forms of employment, workplace safety, and unpaid social security contributions. By strengthening cooperation with law enforcement agencies and judicial authorities, trade unions were able to move the focus of rights protection forward and improve efficiency in handling disputes through the "one letter and two documents" mechanism to ensure effective implementation of laws and regulations.
