India imposes anti-dumping duties on Chinese tetrafluoroethane.
According to the information from the China Trade Remedy Information Network, on December 24, 2025, the Indian Department of Revenue, Taxation Office issued Circular No. 36/2025-Customs, accepting the affirmative final ruling proposal made by the Indian Ministry of Commerce and Industry on September 26, 2025, regarding anti-dumping concerning tetrafluoroethane originating from or imported from China. It was decided to impose a 5-year anti-dumping duty on the products involved from China, with the tax amount being the difference between the declared import price and the minimum price, set at $4423-5251 per ton. The products in question fall under Indian customs code 29034500. This measure will take effect from the date of publication of this Circular in the official gazette.
