Japanese long-term bond yields decline due to reports of reduced issuance volume.
The yield on Japan's super long-term government bonds fell by 4.5 basis points in early Tokyo trading, following reports that the Japanese government may reduce the issuance of super long-term bonds. The yield on 20-year Japanese government bonds briefly fell by 4.5 basis points, before slightly rebounding to 2.945%. The yield on 30-year government bonds decreased by 4.5 basis points to 3.38%. The yield on 40-year government bonds dropped by 4.5 basis points to 3.645%.
