Beyond L3, Baidu's Apollo has achieved large-scale operation of L4-level autonomous driving in multiple cities in China, even expanding internationally. Companies such as Didi Autonomous Driving and Pony.ai have also carried out L4 fully automated demonstration applications in some cities. The implementation of L3 licenses will also help promote the landing of future L4 autonomous driving, accelerate the maturity and perfection of the intelligent networked industry chain. The rapid development of autonomous driving technology also means that technology will quickly impact society, so it is crucial to handle the relationship between technology and society properly.
