Successful construction of standards for the identification and classification of binary star clusters in the Milky Way.
According to the Xinjiang Astronomical Observatory of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Optical Astronomy and Technology Application Research Laboratory of the observatory, in collaboration with the research team of the Shanghai Astronomical Observatory, recently completed a large-scale systematic study of binary star clusters in the Milky Way galaxy. They successfully established identification and classification standards for binary star clusters in the Milky Way galaxy, providing a new perspective on this popular research field. The related achievements were recently published in the international journal "Astronomy & Astrophysics".
