North Korea test-fires new type of anti-aircraft missile, accurately hitting simulated high-altitude target.

On December 24th, North Korea test-fired a new type of high-altitude long-range anti-aircraft missile that is under development. The North Korean side stated that this test was the first tactical and technical evaluation of the high-altitude long-range anti-aircraft missile system under development. The anti-aircraft missile launched accurately hit a simulated high-altitude target set 200 kilometers away. Kim Jong-un, General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and Chairman of the State Affairs Commission, observed the test launch. Kim Jong-un congratulated on the successful test launch.
