On December 23, the world's first commercial land-based modular small reactor, the Hainan Changjiang Multipurpose Modular Small Reactor "Linglong-1" technology demonstration project under China National Nuclear Corporation, successfully completed its non-nuclear steam blow test. During the blow test, all systems operated stably, and the parameters of the steam turbine generator unit met the design requirements, marking the successful completion of the non-nuclear steam blow test for the "Linglong-1" small reactor demonstration project. The non-nuclear steam blow test is an important part of the construction of nuclear power units, likened to a comprehensive "real-life exercise" for conventional island systems before loading fuel into nuclear power units. The success of this test indicates that the core system functions of the "Linglong-1" conventional island have been verified, laying a solid foundation for subsequent nuclear steam blow and grid connection for power generation.
