The China Securities Regulatory Commission released the November statistical monthly report. As of November 30, 2025, there were a total of 5462 listed companies in the domestic stock market, with 2296, 2881, and 285 companies listed on the Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing stock exchanges respectively. In terms of stock types, there were 5216 companies listed only on the A-share market, 238 companies with multiple share types like A+H, A+B, and only 8 companies listed on the B-share market. In terms of ownership, state-owned and non-state-owned companies accounted for 27% and 73% respectively. The top three industries by the number of listed companies were manufacturing, information transmission, software and information technology services, and wholesale and retail trade. Manufacturing companies saw a net increase of 79 since the beginning of the year. Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Beijing had 718, 608, and 477 listed companies respectively, ranking in the top three regions with 33% of all listed companies. 19 regions saw a net increase in the number of listed companies, with the majority of the growth concentrated in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Guangdong.
