Qingdao: By 2027, the total marine GDP will exceed 650 billion yuan.

The implementation plan for the construction of beautiful cities in Qingdao was recently issued. It proposes to create a highland for the development of modern marine economy and to accelerate the construction of a "4+4+2" modern marine industry system, creating modern marine characteristic industry agglomeration areas. By 2027, the number of modern marine characteristic industry agglomeration areas will reach around 10, with about 5 of them at the provincial level, and the total marine production value will exceed 650 billion yuan.
