Caitong Asset Management announced that its first floating rate fund, Caitong Asset Management High-Quality Selection Mixed Type Initiated Fund, completed its initial fundraising from December 3rd to December 23rd. The product adopts a floating management fee model tied to the holding period and performance, with the management fee rate fluctuating between 0.6% and 1.5% based on the duration and return level of each share. Since the release of the "Action Plan to Promote the High-Quality Development of Public Funds" in May of this year, the issuance of floating rate funds has accelerated, with more than 50 new types of floating rate funds established, including 2 managed by public fund managers from securities companies. The fund's proposed fund manager and Caitong Asset Management's Director of Equity Investment, Li Xiang, stated that the focus will be on four key areas. First, seizing the wave of technological innovation and focusing on long-term driving areas such as the domestic computational power industry chain and AI applications. Second, allocating industrial metal resources with rigid supply characteristics to capture the opportunity of upward price shifts. Third, exploring the leading companies in industries with optimized competitive landscapes and improved cash flows, with a focus on value reassessment opportunities in areas such as aviation and chemicals. Fourth, positioning in the consumption sector at historical valuation bottoms to capture the recovery elasticity brought by fundamental improvements.
