They will focus on implementing major scientific and technological challenges around intelligent comprehensive three-dimensional transportation, advancing research and development in common technologies in infrastructure, transportation equipment, and other fields, and implementing a number of major innovation projects. They will promote the integration of cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence, next-generation information technology, big data, and aerospace information with transportation, and implement the "AI + transportation" initiative. They will promote the development of high-end transportation equipment manufacturing, new energy vehicles and vessels, new materials, energy conservation and environmental protection, information technology, and other strategic emerging industries in transportation, and accelerate the cultivation and development of smart logistics, low-carbon economy, and transportation digital industries. They will actively promote clean and low-carbon transportation tools and equipment such as new energy vehicles and vessels, and initiate the construction of zero-carbon road transport corridors.
