Palestine condemns Israel's decision to build new Jewish settlements.

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates issued a statement on social media on the 23rd condemning Israel's approval of the construction of 19 new Jewish settlements on the West Bank of the Jordan River. The statement called this "dangerous move" by Israel an attempt to strengthen its "colonial control" over the entire Palestinian territory. Israeli Finance Minister Smotrich stated in a declaration on the 21st that the government has planned 69 new Jewish settlements within 3 years, a record that has never been seen before. He mentioned that this action will solidify Israel's control over the West Bank of the Jordan River and prevent the establishment of a Palestinian state.
