Regarding the trade-in of old cars for new ones, the Hubei Provincial Department of Commerce has issued a reminder.

The Department of Commerce of Hubei Province reminds that the deadline for submitting applications for car replacement and renewal subsidies is 24:00 on December 31, 2025, and the deadline for submitting correction materials is 24:00 on January 20, 2026. Consumers who have received qualification coupons must complete their application or corrections before the corresponding deadline, otherwise it will be considered as automatic abandonment. In order to meet the end-of-year car purchase demand of consumers, Hubei Province has issued the final batch of car replacement and renewal subsidy qualification coupons on December 17. The qualification coupons are not limited to car models, and the application process has been simplified through online platforms such as the "Dongchedi" app. The policy also removes the geographical restrictions on used car invoices, making it more convenient for cross-regional replacements. Data shows that since the policy adjustment in September, more than 64,000 subsidy applications have been approved, driving consumption by over 11.25 billion yuan; after November, the volume of applications has significantly increased due to the concentrated issuance of qualification coupons.
