Wencan Holdings announced that its subsidiary in Mexico, LBQ, has made progress in the ongoing dispute with the Mexican tax authorities over the double payment of value-added tax. Recently, LBQ negotiated with the tax authorities to determine the final amount in dispute to be 93.0614 million Mexican pesos, with the value-added tax amounting to 58.6029 million Mexican pesos and penalties and other fees reduced to 34.4585 million Mexican pesos, with all penalties waived.
