Shaanxi rolls out ten measures to fully stimulate new vitality of elderly care service consumption.
The Department of Civil Affairs of Shaanxi Province recently collaborated with 25 departments including the Provincial Development and Reform Commission and the Provincial Department of Education to introduce "Ten Measures to Promote Elderly Care Service Consumption." Among them, it mentions expanding the diverse supply and weaving a tight network of elderly care services. It focuses on four major elderly care scenarios: home-based, community-based, institutional, and rural areas, comprehensively broadening service supply channels. It aims to develop home-based elderly care services by providing services such as elderly meal assistance, professional bathing assistance, and intelligent medical assistance to make home-based elderly care more convenient and efficient; expand community-based elderly care services by coordinating and activating idle resources to build a "15-minute elderly care service consumption circle," promoting the "elderly care consultant" service model, implementing the same treatment for the elderly within the same city, and ensuring quality services are accessible at their doorstep; optimizing institutional elderly care services by supporting elderly care institutions in setting up dementia care special zones, implementing the joint construction of township health clinics and nursing homes, and making professional care more universal; speeding up rural elderly care services by establishing county-level elderly care service alliances, renovating idle farmhouses to build "mutual happiness homes," promoting the delivery of elderly products to rural areas, and promoting aging-friendly distribution, allowing rural elderly people to share the achievements of elderly care service development.
