Three departments: improving the kindergarten fee policy, standardizing fee items, and clarifying the principles for setting fee standards.

Wisdom Financial APP learned that on November 23rd, the National Development and Reform Commission and other three departments issued a notice regarding improving the kindergarten fee policy. The notice mentioned that for profit private kindergartens should implement market-regulated pricing, with kindergartens determining fees based on operating costs, market supply and demand, and other factors, and reporting to education authorities at county level or above. Local education, development and reform, and financial departments are required to strengthen supervision, and may conduct cost investigations if necessary to guide reasonable fees and curb excessive charges.
