Electric vehicles drive continuous growth in the European car market for the fifth consecutive month, with Volkswagen, BYD and other brands gaining market share.
According to the Zhitong Financial APP, in November, the number of new car registrations in Europe increased for the fifth consecutive month. With the growth in electric car sales driving the increase, the region is expected to achieve growth for the fourth consecutive year. The European Automobile Manufacturers Association stated on Tuesday that the number of new car registrations in November increased by 2.4% compared to the same period last year, reaching 1.08 million units. Among the main markets, Spain and Germany saw the largest increase, while Italy's sales remained stagnant. Sales in France and the UK slightly declined.
