The three major stock market indices collectively turn green.

Stock index surged and then fell back, with ChiNext Index turning green after previously rising over 1%. The Shanghai Stock Exchange fell nearly 0.15%. Leading declines were in commercial aerospace, consumer goods, and software services, with nearly 4,100 individual stocks falling in Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing markets.
