Multiple regions have initiated the selection process for the declaration of operating entities for the exchange and replacement of household appliances and electronics in 2026.
According to information obtained from the official websites of various business departments in multiple regions, the application and selection process for operating entities participating in the 2026 appliance and digital trade-in program have been initiated in cities such as Shenzhen and Jiangmen in Guangdong Province, Xuzhou in Jiangsu Province, Hangzhou in Zhejiang Province, Guang'an in Sichuan Province, as well as in Chifeng, Ordos, Xilin Gol League, and Alxa League in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
Currently, the application conditions for participating entities in the 2026 trade-in program remain largely unchanged. The products covered by the 2026 trade-in policy will continue to focus on energy efficiency and smart technology. While detailed regulations have yet to be released, there may be adjustments to the product scope and subsidy standards. It is anticipated that the process for consumers to apply for subsidies will be more convenient, and efforts to address financing issues for participating companies are expected to be further optimized.
