Jiangsu Provincial Committee and Provincial Government have set up an investigation team to conduct a comprehensive investigation into the cultural relics management issues at the Nanjing Museum.

Today, the journalist learned that in order to thoroughly investigate the truth and effectively protect the security of national cultural relics, the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee and Government have decided to establish an investigation team composed of discipline inspection, publicity, political and legal affairs, public security, tourism, and cultural relics departments based on the preliminary examination. The team will further conduct comprehensive and in-depth investigations on the issues in the management and disposal of donated cultural relics at the Nanjing Museum, as well as other collection security issues. Based on the investigation results, strict measures will be taken to deal with illegal and irregular issues, without any tolerance. The investigation and handling results will be timely announced to the public.
