In Jiangsu province, electricity consumption increased by 5.2% in the first 11 months.

According to State Grid Jiangsu Provincial Power Company, as of the end of November, Jiangsu's total electricity consumption reached 813.95 billion kilowatt hours, a year-on-year increase of 5.2%. In the first 11 months, the electricity consumption of the province's secondary industry reached 547.21 billion kilowatt hours, a year-on-year increase of 4.4%. Among them, the electricity consumption of the computer, communications, and other electronic equipment manufacturing industries in the manufacturing sector increased by 7.6%, surpassing the steel and chemical industries to become the largest category of electricity consumption in the province. In the strategic emerging industries such as new energy equipment, high-end ships, and aerospace, the growth in electricity consumption is also strong. From January to November, the electricity consumption of wind power equipment manufacturing in Jiangsu increased by 36.2% year-on-year, aerospace and aircraft equipment manufacturing increased by 31.3%, and shipbuilding increased by 15.8%, demonstrating outstanding results in nurturing new productive forces.
