Union Consulting: TV panel prices completely stopped falling in December, laptop panel prices may come under pressure for adjustment.

The TrendForce report shows that in terms of TV panels, panel manufacturers are beginning to create an atmosphere of price increases while demand remains strong. It is currently expected that TV panel prices, ranging from 32 inches to 65 inches, will remain stable in December. Additionally, it is estimated that due to the Lunar New Year and a decrease in working days in February next year, some demand will shift towards January and March. Demand in January is expected to remain strong, and there is a possibility that TV panel prices may start to rise in January. As for laptop panels, in December, the impact of memory shortages and significant price increases is gradually becoming apparent in the demand for laptop panels. Considering that demand may weaken further in the first quarter of 2026, laptop panel prices may continue to face adjustment pressure.
